On behalf of National PTA, I want to congratulate you on being named a 2020-2022 National PTA School of Excellence! You should be proud of this accomplishment. It takes special dedication and perseverance to get to this point, and we thank you for all your hard work.
As PTA members, we are champions for public education. After all, it is our public schools that will provide the educated, innovative, and creative work force of tomorrow. While our nation recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic, family engagement in education will be more crucial than ever before - our children and school communities will need that support as they readjust.
As a National PTA School of Excellence, your school and PTA will be known as a national leader in family-school partnerships and an outstanding example of successfully engaging families in continuous school improvement. You have demonstrated what 40 years of research has proved - amazing things can be achieved when schools and families work together to accomplish a common goal. Your school has mastered these commitments and we applaud you for doing so.
Thank you for your hard work and leadership throughout this process. You have made your school community proud. Again, congratulations on reaching this significant milestone as a School of Excellence.

The presentation of the banner and certificate took place on Monday, September 13 at Early College High School courtyard.
The Excellence Team and the Principal welcomed the audience and thanked the people who made this designation possible: PTSA officers, student leaders, volunteers, school personnel, and community.
The parents, students, teachers, staff, and community were able to socialize, eat a cupcake, enjoy a great evening and have fun.
Parents also took advantage of this great opportunity to meet with their child's teachers and support their academic and social success!
